Will a list of companies get my phone number?
No. We do not send your number to a list of companies. An urgent request looks for one company that is taking work, and you decide whether to go ahead with them.
What happens when no company matches?
We tell you nobody is available. We are not going to hand you a company that does not do this work or does not come out this far, because you would waste an afternoon finding that out yourself.
What does “not confirmed” mean?
Most of a listing is what the company told us. Where something has not been checked, it says so, rather than letting you assume it has been. Ask for the licence number before they start, the same as you would with anybody.
Can I get a few quotes to compare?
Not yet. For planned work you can look through the companies yourself. Putting a project out for several bids is not open.
