What Is the AI Report Builder?

The AI Report Builder lets you generate business reports by describing what you want in plain English — no spreadsheet skills or SQL required. It's connected to all your CrewBrix data: jobs, invoices, payments, expenses, customers, and team performance.

Access it at Reports → AI Report Builder.

Asking Questions

Type your question or request in the chat interface. Examples:

Revenue and billing:

  • "Show me revenue by month for the last 6 months."
  • "Which 10 customers generated the most revenue this year?"
  • "What's my average invoice value compared to last quarter?"

Operations:

  • "How many jobs did each technician complete this month?"
  • "What percentage of jobs are completed on the first visit?"
  • "Show me jobs that went over the estimated time by more than 30%."

Cash flow:

  • "What's my current accounts receivable balance?"
  • "How much revenue is expected in the next 30 days from outstanding invoices?"

Customers:

  • "Who are my at-risk customers with an open balance?"
  • "How many new customers did we add each month this year?"

Built-In Report Types

For common reports, use the quick-access buttons:

  • P&L Statement — revenue, cost of goods sold, gross profit, operating expenses, net profit for any date range.
  • Cash Flow — money in vs. money out by month.
  • Balance Sheet — assets, liabilities, and equity snapshot.
  • Expense Report — expenses by category, technician, or job.
  • Technician Performance — jobs completed, hours worked, revenue generated, satisfaction scores.

Every report can be exported:
