What Is Mission Control?
Mission Control is CrewBrix's real-time dispatch dashboard. It gives dispatchers and managers a complete, live view of the day's operations: which technicians are on which jobs, where conflicts exist, what's running late, and what needs attention right now.
Mission Control is available to Manager and Owner roles. Technicians see only their own schedule.
Opening Mission Control
Tap Dispatch in the bottom navigation bar. The dashboard defaults to today's date.
The Dashboard Layout
Summary bar (top):
- Total jobs scheduled today.
- Jobs in progress right now.
- Completed jobs.
- Jobs with conflicts or alerts.
Technician swimlanes: Each technician has a horizontal row showing their jobs across the day as time blocks. Color coding indicates status (scheduled = grey, in progress = green, on hold = yellow, completed = blue).
Alert panel (right/bottom): Lists all active alerts requiring dispatcher attention.
Types of Alerts
| Alert | What it means |
|---|---|
| Scheduling conflict | Two jobs overlap for the same technician |
| Running late | Job's scheduled start was more than 30 min ago and status is still Scheduled |
| On hold | Technician has paused a job — may need parts or intervention |
| Unassigned job | A job today has no technician assigned |
| Stale status | Job has been "In Progress" for longer than the estimated duration |
Resolving a Conflict
- Tap the conflict alert.
- The conflicting jobs are highlighted.
- Tap Reschedule on one of the jobs to move it to a new time slot or reassign to a different technician.
- Confirm — the affected technician is notified automatically.
The AI Risk List (Business and Enterprise tiers)
The AI Risk List proactively surfaces jobs that are statistically likely to have problems today — based on factors like job complexity, technician workload, customer history, and travel time. Review this list at the start of the day and pre-empt issues before they happen.
Pending Approvals
Some actions require a manager's approval before they take effect:
- Technician requests a same-day schedule change.
- A job's scope is expanded beyond the estimate.
- A material purchase above a set threshold.
Pending approvals appear in the Approvals tab in Mission Control. Tap Approve or Decline with an optional note.
Filtering the Dispatch Board
Use the date picker at the top to view any past or future date. Filter by technician, job status, or service type using the filter button.
Tips
- Run a 5-minute Mission Control review at 7am to catch any conflicts or unassigned jobs before the day starts.
- Use the running-late alerts as an early warning system — a quick call or re-dispatch can prevent a customer complaint.
- The AI Risk List is most valuable when it has at least 2 weeks of job history to learn from.
