Setting Up Recurring Jobs
Automate repeat service visits — weekly lawn care, monthly HVAC checks, quarterly inspections — with a single setup.

What Are Recurring Jobs?
Recurring jobs let you schedule the same service to repeat automatically on a set cadence — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom. Once set up, CrewBrix generates each occurrence automatically so you don't have to re-create the job every time.
Setting Up a Recurring Job
- Create a new job as normal (tap + → New Job).
- After selecting the first scheduled date, tap Recurrence below the date/time field.
- Choose a recurrence pattern:
| Pattern | Example use case |
|---|---|
| Daily | Pool cleaning, morning inspections |
| Weekly | Landscaping, recurring maintenance |
| Bi-weekly | Every other week lawn service |
| Monthly | HVAC filter checks, pest control |
| Custom | Every 6 weeks, every 90 days |
- Set an End date or choose Never to repeat indefinitely.
- Tap Save. CrewBrix generates up to 12 months of future occurrences immediately; additional occurrences are generated on a rolling basis.
Editing a Recurring Series
Open any occurrence in the series and tap Edit. You'll be asked whether to edit:
- This job only — changes apply only to the tapped occurrence.
- This and all future jobs — changes apply to every upcoming occurrence in the series.
- All jobs in series — changes apply to the entire series including past occurrences (useful for correcting an error).
Cancelling a Single Occurrence
Open the occurrence and tap Cancel Job → This job only. The rest of the series is unaffected.
Cancelling the Entire Series
Open any occurrence, tap Cancel Job → All upcoming jobs. All future occurrences are cancelled and marked accordingly.
Tips
- Assign a default technician at the series level so every occurrence is auto-assigned.
- Recurrence notes (e.g. "check filter, lubricate fan") are inherited by all occurrences; per-job notes can still be added to individual occurrences.
- Customers can receive automated reminders before each recurring visit — configure this in Settings → Notifications → Customer Reminders.
