A WORKED EXAMPLE

Make the template specific to the job

For a water heater replacement, specify the model, included fittings, person-hours, and removal work. State whether relocation, venting changes, permits, or concealed repairs are included. For lighting, list fixture quantities and distinguish installation from panel work or patching. The templates structure the estimate; they do not replace a site assessment or select equipment for you.

Can I download a template without giving my email?

Yes. No signup or email submission is required. Use the builder to export an editable JSON draft, export internal costs as CSV, or print a customer proposal and choose Save as PDF in your browser.

Do the templates include real local prices?

No. Prefilled amounts are illustrative sample inputs, not supplier quotes or local market recommendations. Replace them with your own costs before sending a proposal.

Can I add my company logo?

Yes. The estimate builder accepts a PNG or JPEG logo up to 1 MB. It is included in the customer proposal and stays in your browser or exported draft; the tool does not upload it to CrewBrix.

Does the free template send estimates or collect signatures?
